Barry Lane

Barry Lane is born in Germany and lives a life of music since his school days. During the époque of Italo Disco Style in the 80s he was successful in composing and performing songs like “Take A Chance” (No. 1 of the German Disco Charts 1985, released in Germany, Italy, France and South Africa), “Journey To The Moon”, “In A Night Like this” and many more.
In the 90s Barry Lane became the singer of the Pop & Country Band TENNESSEE, who had lots of TV appearances and record/cd bestsellers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Beside the career as a singer and producer (for other artists and himself on his labels LaneSound and SUNRISE) Barry went in a new direction: Presenting “The Barry Lane Show” on air (Radio TIDE 96.0 FM) and attending the acting school (Artrium Hamburg). The result can be seen in different TV movies and video clips.
In 2018 the friendship to the Romanian producer VANELLO led to a remake of the 1986’s Maxi Single “Journey To The Moon”.
